Found First Photo in Action     posted on 24th of june, 2008

I have been submitting photo's onto Dreamstime for quite a while and today I found my first picture in action. Check it out!!!!

Also by seeing how the picture was used it gave me a whole new set of keywords to add for that series of photo's.

Halloween Pictures     posted on 26th of september, 2007

Halloween is about a month away and the kids are already deciding on what they should dress up as to go trick or treating.

As far as stock photography is concerned, what is the best type of pictures to submit for this holiday? Is it pictures of pumpkins resting on hay stacks, kids in their costumes, haunted houses, or all little bit of everything.

I am aware that Halloween is not as big in other countries as it is in the United States. We sure do love our holidays, especially when free candy is involved!

I have just had a go at creating a few images for Halloween but like you I am unsure what will sell so I guess it is just a case of suck it and see. Good luck and it will be interesting to see what you produce. - posted by Nicemonkey on September 27, 2007
As you were saying - a little bit of everything. Halloween is one of those quite well covered areas, you need to be creative and try to bring pictures that would be different in a way from those already present, I think. Bringing an old town to life     posted on 11th of september, 2007

Lately I have been having trouble finding things to photograph in my area. I know that any one of you could come to my town and probably find hundreds of fascinating images to shoot, but for my driving the same streets everyday and seeing the same buildings hasn't sparked any excitement.

Do any of you feel the same way about where you live. I would love to see some pictures of places that surround you.

Don't feel that bad... I know if you look much closer you can find some fascinating views... Try grabbing your camera at sunset and sunrise in your town... Mrs.Holley Carburetor - posted by Mrvent on October 02, 2007
i told my husband this very thing this morning...everything looks so common place nothing stands out. but it will when i start to look at it differently , through a photographers eyes and not just the home town girl. - posted by Denisebeverly on September 11, 2007

Multiracial is popular     posted on 20th of august, 2007

I have many pictures of children in my portfolio from all different backgrounds. I have found, pictures of biracial or multiracial children are very popular and have received many downloads compared to my other pictures. I am excited that there is such a need for this type of photo and will continue to bring these pictures to you.

What do you all think? Have you noticed an increased need in multiracial pictures of children?

Wedding Photographers     posted on 23rd of july, 2007

Although I am not a wedding photographer I did go to a wedding this weekend where the bride had a photographer and videographer.

How many of you shooting a wedding has had issues with someone doing video. Do you feel as though you are competing? Does it make your job harder when they have a hard light on the bride while you are trying to take pictures?

Just curious...

Managed Collections     posted on 17th of july, 2007

One of my new favorite things to do on DT is to build a managed collection. It gives me the opportunity to put a collection of pictures together from a number of photographers and have it available for viewing anytime I like.

So far I have three collections, the first is a collection of food dishes, the second is monochrome shots and finally I have one of landscape (nature's beauty). If you are interested in seeing my collection go to my profile and look on the right hand side where you will find them.

Enjoy,

Jennifer

What you have to do is open the picture you want to add. Then if you click on the tools tab you will see where it says Add To Collection, you new collection should be in there. Click on your collection then hit add. Hope that helps - posted by Pureradiancejennifer on February 23, 2008
