Holding real pictures in my hand     posted on 10th of august, 2007

Recently I entered a photography contest that required 4" by 6" prints. I put some images on a disk and headed off to the local Kodak machine to print them out (my printer is not quite up to the job!) Only when they came out of the machine, all warm and shiny, did I realize that it has been over a year since I had held my real pictures in my hand. I'd forgotten the rewarding feeling of great prints. No bending over the computer examining pixels at 100% or squinting looking for noise. Just photos in my hand. If you haven't printed any 'old fashioned photos" recently give it a try.

You know? That's so true and there's many online stores will do it for you at a fraction of the price the machines in the shop charge.

Hello and thanks for visiting this little corner of Dreamstime. As you can see most of my photos are taken in the great outdoors because that is where I like to be! I try to take the best picture that I possibly can, being that I just don't have time for Photoshop wizardry (I hardly even have time for breakfast!) I just give my pictures a little workover and let you designers do your thing. I would love to see what you do with my images.

Thanks for looking (and especially downloading). Please leave me a comment if you have time.

Enjoy your day ;o)
