How long do you spend with your photos in photoshop tweaking and correcting them?

If a photograph isn't working do you chuck it or put it to one side and go back to it later?

How ordered is your work flow?

If I'm having difficulty with something, I have to walk away from it. Most times, I will come back later that day when my chi is flowing better -- when my fingers and Photoshop and my mind are actually working right! Sometimes I have to leave an uncooperative image alone for days or weeks before I get the right inspiration. I have several images that have actually been sitting on my harddrive untouched for months because I haven't had the right flow to deal with them. Some subjects I just have to be in the right mood to work with. ;)
