I've been rumbled!     posted on 11th of september, 2007

I think all the lovely photo buyers out there have finally realized that there are so many amazing quality images here on Dreamstime, that they really shouldn't waste their valuable credits on my snaps anymore!

So, from the person who wrote blogs about "try not to check DT too often and the sales will come...", and also about finding the time to shoot more, etc... it seems that the bubble has finally burst and I am never going to sell another picture!!!

Don't feel sorry for me, I've pestered the poor admins about keywording and my last batch of submissions (otherwise known as 'rejections'...) so much that I wouldn't blame them if they kept all the profits from my sales for themselves.

Can you tell that I've been working almost non-stop since last Thursday, including the weekend till 2am, and now I don't even have the boost of some juicy sales on DT?

Poor me.

(Pathetic, isn't it?)

(Don't answer that! :) )

Thanks, Carmen. Much appreciated :)

I have been spoiled the last couple of months by having two extended license sales, together with steady regular sales. So the switch to less than 1 image per day (it seems) is a shock to the greed system! :)

You have not really pestered us..:). Your claims about keywording were completely justified but let's not go there. And we would not dare to keep profits for ourselves :P just to punish you.
Patience is a virtue we all need to acquire. Sorry, i completely understand you....trying to be wise when I yell and scream and trot my feet when things do not go my way. But, to get back on the right track, be patient and you will be rewarded. The satisfaction of long waited accomplishments. You will jubilate more trust me.

Ah, yes. Wise words both of you. Thanks for the moral support! :)

Life's a roller coaster. If we get off too soon, we miss out on the rest of the "ups."

Don't worry, my sales have plummeted, too. I was selling something every day almost, but starting this month, I'm lucky to sell a few a week.
And I'm having no luck entering assignments...oh well, things are sure to pick up again, right?
