Hey guys,This last year has been really rough for me financially, trying to follow my art dreams, pay for school, and afford an engagement ring for my highschool sweetheart. I feel as though I have a family here at Dreamstime and I would really appreciate your support. If you could just take a few seconds out of your busy schedule to follow the link and vote for my image I would truly be grateful! Thanks so much and good luck to you all on your artistic ventures! Tuesday will mark the 6th anniversary since the history-shaking attacks on New York City and Washington D.C. I've noticed, however, that although this was a huge event in national and world history, that it really isn't remembered through large amounts of stock photography. I was sitting at my computer the other night and thought to myself, "what can I do to commemorate this almost sacred day and pay respect to those who so patriotically gave their lives that morning?" As a result, I designed this image, with the red and white striped twin towers shooting into the star filled sky of blue. How will you remember?

Congrats for the vision on the event. It definitely was a milestone in history for USA. I think everyone sympathizes with tragic loss of lives, wherever such tragedies occur. - posted by

Doesn't it feel good when you accomplish a goal by creating or finishing something? I feel as though that is one of the best feelings on Earth; to have reached a goal or to have left something for others to enjoy!

First of all I want to thank you for your interest in my gallery. Over the past ten or so years I have deeply enjoyed producing art on the computer and found a great sense of satisfaction in doing so. In high school, however, I found an interest in computer programming as well. Having moved on to college I found that I really enjoyed working with computers and put my dreams of being a graphic designer on the backburner in order to pursue a career that would pay me back the most for my time and effort. Over the course of the next two years, however, I found myself working long hours and finding a lack of satisfaction and pride in my work. Frustrated and trying to realize my dreams as college quickly moved by, I decided once again to pursue my dreams of being an artist. Having never taken a formal art class, I suprised my professors and peers, but most importantly myself, with my artistic skills and talents, and found that I enjoyed both graphic design and fine art. Having lived in Florence, Italy for a semester and having experienced all that this romantic city had to offer, I have gained a deep respect for the art of the past but look forward to producing art for the future. At this point in my life I can say that I am the most satisfied that I have ever been and, although I have much to learn in my final year of schooling, I feel that I have made the right choices and I hope that my art can reach out to the world and be enjoyed by others. Thank you again for taking the time to look at my gallery and to find out more about me. I truly appreciate your support! Sincerely, John
