I am not sure how many people out there belong to the same boat as I do. I don't have strobe lights, models, studio to work with.
My main source of stock photograph are plucked off the street during my street shoots. Namely landscape, street abstracts and maybe some macro shots.
Like mentioned earlier in my previous article "stock minded - boon or bane", I have problems now finding my passion which is now lost in the sea of stock photography. Sometimes, all that I am shooting is something which I feel should qualify as a stock photograph.
One might think that a simple street shot can be taken in its rawest form and presented as a stock photograph. I have to disagree.
Besides getting the right natural light which we have no control over it, we have to select the best angle to shoot from and the best way to compose it.
This photograph was taken in a park which many joggers pass by everyday in the morning and evening but who would have thought this could be a shot?
As incomplete as it might be, it is essential for buyers out there who feel this photograph can be churned out to be an effective warning sign after manipulating it or with other photographs integrated.
So, for those street photographers like me, don't let everyday objects that we take for granted go unnoticed. There is a gem out there to be polished. In our context, a scene waiting to be shot. Good luck!
