First Model     posted on 2nd of october, 2007

Most of the shots in my portfolio are shots of objects, insects, animals, landscapes, etc. With an interest in expanding my portfolio, I wanted to use a model get some shots of a "real person."

So, here's my first approved photos involving a model. Tell me what you think. Any constructive advice or criticisms is always appreciated.

I think they turned out pretty well if I say so myself. I'll be uploading more soon.

David.

To require criticism of your portfolio or images, it is better to use the thread especially designed for that http://www.dreamstime.com/forum_6. Your model is pretty indeed. :) - posted by Tangie on October 03, 2007

More to come... some with eye contact and some without. As for me, I think some shots with eye contact look overly staged... So I thought I'd try to capture the model in hopefully a more natural look... Maybe effective, maybe not? Appreciate your thoughts Tonygers... I'm always looking to learn! - posted by Davidwattsjr on October 02, 2007

Pumpkin Pie?     posted on 3rd of october, 2007

From a recent outing, here are some harvest-time images that I recently had approved. Pumpkins are great, but I've never had any success growing them in a garden.

I'm always on the lookout for vivid colors - so I was pleased with the vivid green and orange colors of these shots.

Pumpkin pie anyone?

Alternative Power Collection     posted on 5th of october, 2007

I recently started an alternative power collection here on Dreamstime. Alternative/renewable power sources are certainly a hot topic in today's society. Thankfully, there are many great photos of alternative power sources. I've tried to pickup some of those that I think are particularly well-executed or unique.

Naturally, I've thrown a few of my solar panel shots into the collection, but there are many other great shots from a variety of photographers.

Here's a link to my collection: alternative power collection

Here are some sample photos in my collection:
