A helping hand for the newbies (part 18)     posted on 8th of october, 2007

Do you remember when you first joined DT and you waited patiently for that first sale? I do! and I also remember the feeling of elation it brought with it. What I want to do is look at a portfolio with no sales, buy what i think is the best image in that portfolio and show it on a blog with 2 others from the same portfolio that I think should be worth a sale or two.

The point of this series of blogs is to get the ball rolling for some of our newbies.

So here is the 18th image I've bought from a newbie.

His name is Vito Elefante and he's from Castellana Grotte in Italy.

Hmm, wish I could delete my previous message now. I feel pretty stupid! :-) You are VERY new and your images just weren't processed yet. I guess I just assumed because you had so many you had been here awhile. WOW! You were busy uploading. Now that I've seen the rest of your images, I can say you have quite an impressive start. Great, great work! - posted by Cmarshall717 on October 09, 2007
I, too, like your work. I'm curious, though. I went to your portfolio. It shows you have 99 uploaded. However, I only see four images in your actual "Portfolio" when I click on it. If I click on your name link in one of the three images above, it takes me to a page with your recent uploads and most popular. But, again, if I click on "more images", all it get is the four images shown on your portfolio. I'm looking forward to seeing your other uploads. Great work! By the way, what IS that green thing above on the leaf? Can't figure it out. - posted by Cmarshall717 on October 08, 2007
