Just starting my full time studio!     posted on 9th of november, 2007

I have just mailed out flyers and am ready to begin shooting holiday portraits for the first time. I have got three bookings so far and hope to get enough to pay for all the holiday props, backdrops and new lighting I just bought. It is a little scary to start doing full time work. Not knowing how much you will make, or if people are going to like the portraits you take of them. I have been using my kids as models to make sure I have the lighting and set up right. It is a whole lot easier taking pictures of your family than it is strangers. Anyway, if anyone has any tips for me on how to run a portrait studio, I would love to hear them.

They are adorable! That's a big step, but judging from your portfolio, you'll do just fine! Good luck. - posted by Cmarshall717 on November 09, 2007
