Tis the Season     posted on 17th of december, 2007

I thought I might create my first blog on a really happy note.

Christmas is here in a week, and new years is just around the corner. All I can say is…Party Time!!! This is the time to dance, have fun, listen to some really great music and put on some sparkly, tacky, and brightly colored ornaments just to show off.

I don’t know about anybody else, but I am definitely looking forward to it. Sure beets stressing out over which gift to give who, and how much the budget it for each individual based on there level of relationship.

Get ready to have some fun, cut loose, and cut the rug. I know it’s a few days early but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

Thanks so much for the comment. I agree with you about being a time to reflect. But we can always take time to reflect. What I have found more troubling is some people are not able to relax, let go, breath in life, enjoy it. We will always have Yesterday, We might not have tomorrow, so why not live as much life as we can today, and reflect and improve as we go along. That way, we become better people, and we can make the world a more joyful place. Turn on the news, there is no doubt this world needs more joy. - posted by Torchdesigns on December 18, 2007
Party, dance, fun are thinks that people do for such days, but that is just feelings, emotions and that. What we have from that? they last too short. We need something else. something real. Maybe we should more think about last year, what we did, are we better from last year? what we can do, to be better persons in the year in front us? I think we should more think for things like this, and not just think for one night. - posted by Icyimage on December 17, 2007

Cold is Relative     posted on 19th of december, 2007

“It's cold outside”, I thought to myself yesterday morning. The sun had not yet risen and I was weary about leaving the comfortable warmth of my apartment, only to get into my icebox of a car, and drive 20 min to work. It was the coldest it had been all year. My hands were numb, and my breath was visible in the pre-dawn air. How cold was it, one might ask. Before I reveal the actual temperature and upset all of the people that are currently freezing in climates that should be un-inhabitable at least 4 months out of the year, I should mention that I live in Central Florida. Between the Sunny cities of Tampa and Orlando.

Don't get upset yet. I haven't revealed the temperature that had me wishing I had ...

Art, color, light, nature, and tons of other things grab my attention. I liken this world and all of the fascinating images in it to me being like a Kid in a candy store. There is so much to see that I could go nuts taking pictures and drawing. I have been blessed with creativity which I enjoy at every moment of my life. Everything I do is effected by it. Everything I do comes out of it. For that I am grateful. It is also my job to be creative, so that works out well for me.
