The bridges of Chinese gardens     posted on 9th of january, 2008

The bridges are the important part of Chinese gardens. That’s because the water, for example, streams, lakes, ponds, are the important part of Chinese gardens, too : )

Some of the bridges in these gardens are of stone, and some of them are of wood, including straight, winding and arched bridges.

The straight bridge, usually level with the riverbank or with the

river to make the visitors feel as if they are surrounded by water.

The winding bridge has low balustrades.

The arch bridges can be divided into the single-arch and the multi-arch varieties.

The bridges in these gardens may be not cover a large area, but fit in well with the streams and lakes to yield a uniformed effect.

Baby baker     posted on 16th of january, 2008

My baby is two years old now.He is a lively boy indeed and like to play with mud. If within doors, instead of the mud,i give him paste that's made of wheaten flour as his toy. So, making bread become his favorite game.Sometimes,he even request his mother to bake it for him.

As other parents did, we love our baby deeply.

Is spring on the road?     posted on 19th of january, 2008

If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

ha,I love these words wrote by Percy Bysshe Shelley.

Then I think a foto of mine may be fit to these great words.

As shown in this pic,The ice is thawing, the river flow, and the radiant and enchanting sunshine shines on the surface of ice and water. How beautiful scene it is!

I love spring,though sometimes,i love snow more :)

What's your opinion? All the lovely designers and photographers on DT?

The lowest temperature here in winter is 13 degrees below zero in recent years.I have never seen the thing you describe,it's awful, but,i still want to experience it :) I'am curious about something that never saw. And,you are so humorous. It made me happy :) Hope my words won't confuse you, because some them are from my dictionary at hand.My god! - posted by Seesea on January 19, 2008
