Keywording Service     posted on 11th of february, 2008

Taking a tip from another Dreamstimer (thanks, KenneyStudios!), I submitted a few images for full keywording. I was a little skeptical at first, thinking 'How could they know my photos better than I do?'

Well, I am officially hooked on this service. The keyworders have come up with many, many more descriptive terms that I have on my own. They have a fresh eye for the photo, and it seems to help them envision more themes and uses than I had in mind when I created the image. I won't embarrass myself by showing how limited my own keywording is, but check out the great job they did on these photos.

Pamela, I am officially hooked. I am reluctant now to submit images without this service.

I checked out your photos--very nice! I like the macros. I noticed, though, that there might be a few keywords you are missing. On this image, for example, how about

golden brooch pin jewel jewelry gem locket? I think these are all appropriate, and would in no way be keyword 'spam.'

Darn--the image is not appearing in this message. I am referring to your ID number 4236907, of the heart-shaped pin with the pearl.

Glad to hear this service works. I have been wondering and waiting to hear what more were saying and to see some examples. Thanks for providing the information and the examples. I feel I will now give the service a try when i am having a problem with keywording.
Thanks!!!

I hear you, but sometimes I find the keywording most valuable when I feel TOO familiar with the subject. I love having a set of fresh eyes on an image.

All around, a highly useful service--and a bargain, too.

Those are great photos, and great keywords to go with them! The keywording service has been a savior for me when I struggle to keyword an image (especially when it's a subject I dont have a lot of experience or knowledge about).
