When I first started uploading here, the downloads were slow and I nearly gave up but after 19 months I have now made $1,000. Downloads have increased a lot the past few months and I am now pleased I stuck with it. Thanks to all the buyers. Here's one I hope will help me to $2,000.

on March 20, 2008 Congrats! I Agree with Photojay - the education is priceless. However, I do find stock photos a bit problematic for me for several reasons (Apart from the fact that most of my small portofolio is still scanned from slides, and it takes ages to finish scanning it...) First, when I do manage to create a unique photograph, I'm hesitating to make it RF - after all, that's giving it to the world and no-one will know that it's yours. Second, many good photographs are just not stock-oriented; Sometimes one has to be careful not to ditch good pictures just because he knows they won't fit it with Stock agencies. |

on March 13, 2008 CONGRATS!!! It is taking me a little longer, but I am right behind you and should go over $1000 this month (over 24 months). It took me a while to catch on to this AND I was a terrible photographer when I first started. Stock has taught me so much that I would do it even if I didn't make ANY money. The experience has helped me to become a much better photographer. That education is PRICELESS! |
