Introduction to the trip of Cambodia     posted on 3rd of april, 2008

I have been to Angkor, Cambodia several months before. From today, I am going to write a series of articles to introduce Cambodia. I hope these articles can help my friends make trip plans in Cambodia, especially in the ruins of Angkor. The ruins of Angkor was temples of Khmer empire, which is located at the modern city named Siem Reap.

The first place of these ruins that I am going to introduce is called Angkor Wat. "Angkor" means city and "Wat" means temple. This is a "must come" place in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Angkor Wat has a famous three peaks tower, which is the main entrance to the temple.

The temples are made by brick. There are monks living in the temple. The temples are surrounded by dark hallways, but when go out the hallways, bright temples and meadow are shown in front of you.Dancing ladies are carved on the wall of temples.
