We have the definitions of vacation and travel. Now we can focus on the assignment "Traveling". With these definitions we see that traveling does not have to be a vacation, which is what I was thinking, but can be a journey from one place to another.
So if traveling can be journeying from one place to another prepare that camera for trips to work, to the grocery store, to church, or even just to visit family. The view we see every day may be common scenes to us, but are amazing unknown scenes to others. Look at your surroundings: what is intriguing? what is interesting? what could you imagine seeing in advertising or magazines?
Do you live near famous places? Vacation destinations? Have you photographed these areas? I live near the Blue Ridge Parkway and find it to be interesting and have different beauty traints during different seasons. Are there places like that near you?
With the rising gas places it seems a lot of people are vacationsing closer to home and visiting local places of interest. Let your journey lead you to these areas in your town and Good Luck in this assignment!!!
