My second picture rejected, fixed then approved.     posted on 25th of april, 2008

As I learn more about having my pictures approved, I am forced to improve my photography skills, which is a good thing.

Here is my 2nd approved photo. When I first submitted it the picture was too dark and it was rejected. I then went to the local hardware store and picked up a couple of halogen work lights $19.99 each. I used those to illuminate my subject, and improved the lighting to get the photo approved.

the light still lacks in this composition, my opinion...but the will to get better in photography skills is appreciated. - posted by Tridentmedias on April 29, 2008

Surprising results on uploaded photos.     posted on 30th of april, 2008

Recently I had 3 photos approved, and 2 rejected. I am still getting used to the DT system.

What I was surprised with was that the photo that I thought was one of my best shot (I even have it blown up and hanging on my office wall) was rejected.

The other surprise was that one mountain photo that I uploaded, and after uploading it I figured would be rejected was approved.

I am not complaining, just surprised and a bit confused as I am trying to learn what I should upload that will be likely to be confused.

Here is my latest batch of 3 that were approved.

I am still looking forward to having my first download or sale.

Hope you realize that there are at least a dozen more images hiding within these three images ... of course in case your 'focal length' isn't limited to 200mm ! Nice, clean images. Thanx for sharing. - posted by Eromaze on May 03, 2008
It looks like that middle shot has a dirt spot on the lens or sensor. Nice images though. - posted by Kelpfish on May 01, 2008
Great images. I especially like the first one Winter Mt. Shuksan. It is a very "fresh" look to it. You can almost spell the snowy mountain air. Congratulations, and keep uploading. Good luck here! - posted by Cmarshall717 on April 30, 2008
