Woohoo, my first ever lightning capture     posted on 26th of june, 2008

Last night I capture my first ever lightning shots. A storm rolled over Marquette for a couple hours and the lightning continue in the distance for what seemed all night. I watched it from afar on the beach as it went into the distance of Lake Superior.

Incredible! Still new to lightning photography, not sure if they are stock ready yet! Eventually I'll get to this...

Wow, nice job! The city in the foreground makes it even better. You did great on your first capture.

    About Me
Justin Sailor (Bugsy)
Marquette, US

I first picked up my mom's camera when I was a junior in high school. Coming from a family where photography runs deep it did not take long to get involved.

While at Michigan State University I practiced my skills studying photography in Europe, practicing photojournalism for the yearbook, as well as the photography editor for what is the largest published yearbook in the nation.

After graduation from MSU I headed off on a year-long 50 state tour of the United States where I snapped dozens of photos for a year. I stayed at least 5 days in all 50 states, staying with over 100 households of people i had never met before in my life.
