Summer fun time is here for us and we keep busy with various outdoor activities. It gives me a chance to get many different photos, if I can stay out of the water and off my bicycle. Here are some of my newest: You can even play in the dirt- (After a long day!) Activities are important for development, and a healthy lifestyle will serve you well as you age. Strive to do more each year and enjoy the sights and sounds. Oh yes, take the camera everywhere!

While I was out taking pictures this morning I got to 500 uploads!! It's been a lot of work and I am truly enjoying this. I hope my portfolio will entice the buyers and maybe even some will leave me a message about where the images were used. Now, I need to put in many hours looking at what I shot this morning and getting them ready so I can hopefully bump my number up a lot more! Thanks to my friends/models this is number 500:

The first picture is my father and his stepson, Uncle Bob, the dogs are what we raise to eat, and the other good looking, hairy, gentleman is me before my surgery. Please come and enjoy some of the children in my life. I just got 8 new photos on line and have a lot more ready to submit! If you like or need photos of kids having fun in the summer some of these may make you smile. It's been a great beginning to our fun this year but the time is going by too quickly--we just can't seem to get everything done! I think I'm wearing out my camera and lens and may need to replace them soon--so buyers, please help me fund my hobby/business. The kids may outgrow their desire to pose for me so I want to take full advantage of them now! I have a collection of "Kids and Other People" with different seasonal shots, also.

My real job is caning chairs and repairing wicker pieces. But since getting a new camera, I have started carrying it everywhere. Now I take the time to do photography. I love being outside and have many hobbies that take me outdoors. I'm hoping to get the hang of this and be able to balance all of my fun and work!
