Setting Goals     posted on 30th of july, 2008

I became a member of Dreamstime on May 12, 2008 and did not know what to expect since I had already been turned down by other stock sites for only taking pictures of animals. After my first set of pictures started going through the review process on May 21st I realized that Dreamstime was the place for me because they accepted that animals is my favorite subject for photography. After being accepted by Dreamstime I started making goals for myself and my Portfolio. The month of May I did not have any goals since I started in the middle of the month. My big goal is to have 1,200 pictures by my 1 year anniversary of my first upload accepted by Dreamstime. After setting a year goal I set a monthly goal which I set to 150 uploads a month so I can try to get a head of my yearly goal hopefully or just in case one or two months I can not make my monthly goal for some odd reason. So far I have been making my monthly goals which makes me extremely happy. One of the other goals I had was to hopefully make my first $100 here on Dreamstime within the first 6 months which I am happy to say I was able to make it in 2 1/2 months. Today was my first day of being an exclusive photographer to Dreamstime which helped me to reach my first pay out goal and it was well worth me becoming Exclusive.

Thanks Dreamstime for making this the best stock site. The staff has been very helpful and through Dreamstime I have decided to expand my portfolio and I have been learning so much about stock photography.

Here is a few of my shots so far I have had accepted:

Congratulations and well done Susan! I too am an animal lover and was very discouraged when checking out other stock photo sites. Most did not accept photos of animals, domestic or wild! Your animal images are inspiring and always a pleasure to view. Best always -- Marilyn

Thanks :) Meerkats somehow have become a main subject for me to take pictures of but I guess it is because they are perfect models that seem to enjoy their picture being taken and they are just tooo cute :)
