Does anyone know any info about when the new 5D will come out? posted on 22nd of july, 2008

im looking for a new camera.....i hear the 5D canon will be great...........what do you guys think? is the price going to be close to 3000?????

	Just read an interesting article about the 2 new 5D's that may be coming, the 5Dn and the 5Ds, one is a 16MP studio/general use camera and the other is a 12MP high speed sports camera. Both full frame of course. Is it true or just yet another story? Only time will tell - posted by Tacrafts on August 26, 2008
	As many people on DPreview forums say, every day you wait to buy a new camera, you miss hundreds of great shots you'd otherwise take with the old camera. That's why I just went and bought the original 5D for about $1700 and I absolutely love it! Of course, when the 5DmkII (or whatever it will be called) is out, perhaps I'll buy it and use the old 5D as a backup body. - posted by Javaduke on July 23, 2008
	Folk have been trying to second guess this one since the 5D became 18 months old. The answer is only Canon know and they are not telling. Guess it will be FF with self cleaning and live view [as 40d/450d] but how many pixels? My guess is 16MP, but that is just a guess based on no facts.
