Mt.Animaqen snow-covered mountain is one of the four scared mountains of Tibetan Buddhism in elevation of 6200 metres. This mountain is huge and covered with snow perennially. People in Tibet usually pilgrimage on the methods of trekking over the hills. If you want to drive there, it needs cross country vehicle with four-wheel drive to climb over the mountains and cross over the rivers. Leaving from Maduo Town, it needs 16 hours to reach the Kalong Glacier below the Mt.Animaqen mountain.
