Don't trash that photo!     posted on 10th of october, 2008

This is for any paint program you have.

Just because those shots are out of focus or blurred or for whatever reason you do not like how they turned out.. you can still use them for alot of other projects.

I will show you how you can create a background using some plug-in effects.

I have Paint Shop Pro Photo x2 Ultimate, and I will be using some plug in effects from the KPT Collection.

Your really looking for blurred and color. The possiblities are endless..

Warning, this can take some time playing around with the effects and layer blend modes..and become additive for awhile.. ;0)

Thank you so much, for everyone's coments.. ;0) There are tons of free plugins for anyone that doesn't have the KPT Collection. It's a good thing I get bored easily, or else I would be doing thing forever! - posted by Ladykassie on October 13, 2008

Exclusive Free     posted on 10th of october, 2008

What a stressful and frustrating situation to be in.

I am now free as an exclusive photographer here at Dreamstime and over XXX$ in the hole.

BUT.. I am cool with that, it's going to take some work to get into a positive $ amount.. uploading more images and photos here.. which I am really excited about doing.. '0)

What the best is .. is the freedom I have now. Now I can sell my prints, cards, posters, mugs, tee's etc.... anywhere I want. This is such an overwhelming feeling and a huge weight off my shoulders.

I want to thank everyone that has helped in this situation with me. I do appreciate everything that has been done, from the bottom of my heart.

I will continue to learn and grow and be a part of Dreamstime, just not exclusive.

Thanks!

Tutorial: Creating Digital Abstract Art     posted on 11th of october, 2008

Have you done a google search for painted abstract backgrounds?

Well.. if you can't paint (which I know I can't, you can ask my Design 1 Instructor from college, and she gave me a A in that class.. I guess she felt bad, I tried so hard) or have tons of photos that you have no use for.. again, don't trash that photo..

Here I will show you how to make a digital abstract background, more or less like that of some famous paintings.
