Making progress     posted on 15th of may, 2009

One of my goals in a previous Blog was to try to move towards something conceptual in my photography. I had some success yesterday!!!

I managed to combine 2 images taken over the last week in photoshop and I am very chuffed that the 2 files I submitted were accepted. Not only is this my first attempt at a concept, but it is the first time I have been successful in submitting photoshopped images.

It's funny, the harder I tried to think of an original concept, the less inspiration I felt. These ones just came to me when I looked at the 2 images.

I call them Pathway to Hell. Let's hope it's not an omen, LOL.

Who knows whether they will sell, but having them accepted is surely a start! Onward & upward from here.

Wow! I didn't know this was a photoshop creation, very nicely done. How exciting your first attempt was accepted. Especially since DT has been very selective lately. Nice work... :-)
