I'm new,but if you need an help with something,it's a nice way to find it;you have even another way to expose yourself and then you can find out some great opinions - posted by Yuritz on September 28, 2009
to interact, to earn credit and spend on new contributors, to express your feeling, to make friends, to know each other, opppsssssssssss the list will go on and on,,, its endless, so keep writing and understand for urself. - posted by Creativei on September 19, 2009
I think, initially you write blog to express yourself, to share your life experience, or just something interesting that might happen to you. Here you can also get some help, like Studioportosabbia already said. And free credit is just a secondary thing, like bonus - posted by Kaththea on September 19, 2009
Its a way to express yourself ... as mani put it - you wrote 12 blogs already .. you expressed yourself publicly 12 times :)

most importantly you find great tips and great advice from others in the blogs - its super when someone shares their experiences - helps you grow as a photographer! :)

A few days ago I had a problem finding a program to edit Exif/Iptc data so I wrote the question down in a blog. Within minutes I received many suggestions and those were very helpfull. Don't think about the credit a blog CAN make for you, you have to write something meaningfull to earn it and that means more than one line. Indeed, with the credit you can support a starting photographer or reward someone else that has a great portfolio. - posted by Studioportosabbia on September 18, 2009
Why you wrote 12 blogs?! - posted by Mani33 on September 18, 2009
You can ask for constructive criticism and help. You can ask questions which puzzle you and other DT members may have the answers or point you in the right direction. Yesterday I learned of a member with 11,000 images uploaded and saw the quality and number of downloads he had achieved. David. - posted by Davidwatmough on September 18, 2009
You could use your credit to buy someone's photo! And if it is a new contributor, you make him/her really happy for her/ his first sale! - posted by Littledesire on September 18, 2009
Blogs are an outlet to express yourself as well as a way to share knowledge that could help others. Also, they can just be a good place to have fun. I know some people don't like giving information freely, but when you help others, you really do help yourself. - posted by Conceptualcreations on September 18, 2009
