I agree with everything below. Upload, read and participate in the message boards and blogs, try the assignments etc. It will all help to increase your profile. I've also got a free image that I'm hoping is bringing in new viewers and potential buyers to my portfolio, so you could always give that a try. Have a great day :0)

Hi Joe,
Regarding your question... You can always upload any good photos you take, but if you find that you like to shoot more restaurants for example try to make a bigger portfolio covering this subject & create collections with it! Like a collection with restaurents of hotels, another with restaurants of public street, another with table tops!
Let people see what is your strong point in a photo! Start with this & will find yourself with a big portfolio & greater exposure.

Cheers ;)

All the other comments below are true. But in actual fact, your portfolio is small compared to the database. You need to increase your exposure.

Here are my tips to increase your exposure:

1) Writing blogs
2) Be active in message boards
3) Upload to monthly assignments
4) Upload some editorial photos

Probably the most useful is getting photos accepted for the monthly assignment. Ex. for this monthly if a buyer was looking for retired people or older people photos for a project, they'll likely look at this months assignment. Also, your photo will go to level 5 with assignment which helps during searches.

Here is a blog I wrote about a method to get more exposure:

Raising up click rate is very easy: go to your photo and press F5 button as much as you want!

OK, that was a joke! Actually clicking doesn't matter! All you need is sales! You are already told the secrets from Travismaney, Halient and Maen! And with your lovely photos, you'll have a huge success soon! Just don't stop uploading!

I agree with all what was said below!
Be active (Uploads, quality, diversity, collections, blogs, message boards "photo request", assignments)
Get a special touch to your portfolio with diversity & you can get specialized in a subject that you domain well also! (Nature, Food, Kids... etc)

keep uploading, do your own blog and post your images on it, post to other sites with a link to your portfolio in it. (i put watermarked versions on my flickr, deviantart, and a couple of other sites) Also diversify your portfolio

Keep uploading quality images and you will get more sales. Keep an eye on what images sell and upload more images of that type. You can also generate sales by promoting your portfolio link. Do what you can to send buyers directly to your images.

Good luck!
