conceptual images

posted on 19th of october, 2009

I have now been here on DT for little less than a year however rarely have I resisted the temptation to just take the odd shot and hope for the best :D

It seems that here on DT conceptual images sell very well, for example;

These three images all stress the theme of nature although there are many more out there on the DT database that have a completely different meaning. Here are some

Solitude
Environmental
Finance
Business
Technology

These 5 topics are strongly covered within the DT database;

HOWEVER think of your everyday life, what you do?, waht you say?, where you are?

How could you interpret these everyday scenes into conceptual images, for example:

Driving; more or less everyone steps into a vehicle in their average everyday life. Why couldn't this be a theme for a conceptual image?

Next you may like to think of titles or slogans to help your imaginative prowess kick into action - driving ambitions ??

Driving your business to success was about the best I could think of although there are probably many more out there!!

What are you waiting for, go and shoot some conceptual images! :D

thanks;
hope this is useful

thanks - I was wondering why scenic images don't seem to sell so well myself :D

I reached the same conclusion after 4 or 5 months. Lots of scenic images go unloved but conceptual images must figure in newspapers or magazine articles. David.
