The title of your image is quite important if you want to promote your work and let it be found by a customer. Try to make a title and description as much relevant and descriptive as possible!
Dreamstime engine allows you to see what search phrase led a customer to your image. And it is nice opportunity to check how accurate your descriptions are! Look for these search phrases on the 'My Earnings' page of the member management area.
Please look at two examples attached to this article. My clocks from Venice were found by phrase 'clocks office post venice'. I tagged this image with 'Clocks of Venice post-office' title. 100% hit!
Second image is 'Eiffel tower by night and people on the grass'. And the search phrase was 'eiffel night people tower'. All the words were in the image title!
If you do not see search phrase in Dreamstime statistics or your do not have sells at all... Then it is probably a good reason to review a way you tag and describe your work.
So, to sum it up:
1. Try to think as a customer. What words will you use to find your picture yourself?
2. Be as much descriptive as possible, do not make it too short!
3. And do not forget about relevancy!
And finally let me advise you not to be poetic. If you have very nice picture of your lovely child in carnival costume, do not call it 'Jumping bunny'. Instead call it what it is: 'Lovely little child in bunny costume'.
Good luck everyone!
