If no, so I'm afraid you've never experienced a sense of great night mystery of this tremendous city. Cold wind, snow, lights, shadows, indistinct contours of palaces and bridges, illusive figures on streets...

These are beautiful pictures. I have been to St. Petersburg several times, never in winter though. I find it a wonderful city.

In SPB you can freese even in summer. But you are right, it's beautiful any season. If your clothes warm enough, of course ;)
