>Well after reading two blogs from dmccale about her dog, here are the two blogs about the dog, if someone missed it, and dmccale, I have taken the title of your two blogs for this blog hope you don't mind.

Part 1
Part 2

After reading those blogs, I was seriously thinking about our own life, as our Holy Quran says everyone shall taste the death. When I think about it its so scary, as I have set so many dreams and so many things I have to do, I have to achieve. What if its my day tomorrow, what about my dreams and goals. Just thinking about it was so painful, but we have to taste the pain.

Now before...

I think if a person has truly accepted God there is nothing to fear. When your time comes you will know and you will be ready. Like the song says. I want to go to heaven but I don't want to go tonight. So live and love and and worship and you will find life forever. Peter

being non muslim, i was not aware of this beautiful custom of ramadan or eid felicitation until i went to tour Tunisia in 2005.
since then, i have been cherishing this holy month, and truly learn the benefit of this practise. it's something we can learn from other cultures.
i cannot say enough of how much i love this practise of ramadan and the other eid where you share food with the poor dividing into 3.
yes, i just learned of this from my neighbourhood Halal Meat store where i started to buy hallal lamb since coming home from Tunisia.
other people look at me funny when i say i eat like a muslim,
but the muslims don't think so.
Essalam Alaykum, and a late Eid Mubarak to all muslim contributors and all non muslims who celebrate it as a moral support to my brothers and sisters in this global community. may we all live to prosper, live well, and lve as one... inshallah !!!
PS.
sorry, i missed ramadan this year. i was waiting for october, ha!ha!..
shukran !!!

>I have a question, I was with my photographer friend today, discussing about Operating System, He is Pro Mac & I'm Pro Windows, but I do work around 10 hours a day on my Mac, but windows is cool man.......... (what's ur fav OS)

Well during our discussion we were arguing about which was the first operating system with visuals. ( I'm not talking about DOS and other OS)

As per my knowledge it was Windows 1.0, the first ever visual OS, then it followed by Windows 2 and only then Mac OS was launched. But my friend thinks and says its Mac. (Is that so??????)

I goggled almost two hours, but I didn't find a solid proof for my claim nor his, in due course I found a lot about other OS which I wasn't aware until today. If you have time Read this very informative...

:)) Great post! I remember my first "anything visual" after just a DOS command line, and it was Norton Commander, a file manager which acted as the text user interface for DOS. I guess my first real GUI was Windows 3.1, or something.

My first classes in computers were at school! The machines had "LOGO and BASIC" languages only! 1986-1987 if I'm not mistaken! I haven't heard of older OS! Thanks for the articles ;)
