Taking up membership of Dreamstime 3 months ago was a challenge but get images accepted has proved to be a steep and valuable learning curve. I found Nikitu's article on innovation particularly helpful as it stressed the need to think along new lines to create interesting images. I wish someone could explain how to get model releases from subjects who are not friends and family. Also it would be helpful to understand from successful photographers how they achieve financial success. Is it by selling images outright ?
Constructive criticism of my first 55 images would be appreciated.

David.

This week if you live in the UK you cannot help but hear of the Stafford- shire Hoard discovered by a Metal Detectorist who has been detecting for about 14 years. About 150 gold and silver Saxon objects were found buried in a field and all in pristine condition many inscribed with Biblical quotes. I had already arranged a photo shoot with a detectorist in stubble fields and hope the news of this find worth over a million pounds will create interest in my detecting images such as that attached. link

Don't let Dessie worry you with trivial information about what's in my head ;))

But I do think some of my ancestors may have dropped something over there, so you can return any of my valuables.

Good luck!!

I love your canal shots! They are very beautiful. Good luck with your sales :0)

I couldn't believe the canal image and took about 30 or 40 shots because it was unusual and no photoshop or adjustments required [ only tripod and 300 mm Nikor lens ] David.
PS I also run a medical instrument company so am kept very busy.
