Thank you for your comment Joshua75. Most people who attempt to get into stock photography never make it to their first payout. The reason for this is they go into it thinking that its going to be sooooooooo easy. This is not the case. My blog explains the Pros & Cons of trying to get started into stock photography and also give you details in the form of a timeline of how long my own success has taken to put it into realistic terms. Even then ... I have a long way to go from where I want to be with my stock photography ;)

Just read your very helpful web site explanation of your ' involvement in microstock '. I can vouch for the fact that it is difficult to get going in microstock without a mentor close by. Learning to accept rejection is a painful lesson but valuable nevertheless once you accept the criticism as constructive. I am surprised you are involved in so many agencies.
