With less than a week to go til Valentines Day, I went looking for a simple but interesting heart design for some last minute love notes.

It's interesting how a subject that is so well covered can still inspire fresh and new designs. I mean, how many ways are there to draw a simple red heart? Apparently infinity judging by Dreamstime's database! After much trawling of the site here are my favourite picks for 'red valentine heart'.

I applaud the fabulous creativity of these illustrators for coming up with fun and fabulous ideas! Now I just have to choose which one to use!
