Coffee with no milk, images with no filter posted on 25th of march, 2010

Ok, so on my homeopath's orders I have stopped taking milk in my coffee. 9 years ago another homeopath booked me off sugar in my coffee. So what is my finding after 3 weeks of black, bitter coffee?

What have I been missing! It seems like coffee has REAL flavour now. Can you imagine? That by diluting it, I've actually taken the real beauty out of the drink.

Now the question is: do I do that with photography? Do I dilute my work with commercial cleverness to make it more susceptible to the buying market, or do I let the real McCoy surface now and again, so people can feel the brunt of my total, unadulterated creativity?

Honestly, I think I flood it with creative sugar and milk... I've become so used to shooting acceptable images, that I'll probably blog another 10 times on this, but in the meantime, I'm gonna try and break this habit.

I've created on my site already galleries that focuses on "projects", pc speak for "bugger you, I like this" images. Hopefully in time I can integrate this into stock.

	Aha this is one point I have been debating with myself. I am some one who likes to take candid pictures but those cannot be submited to DT as the lighting may not be right or "not properly composed" So I try to maintain a balance between the two. - posted by Joezachs on April 29, 2010

	I sometimes think along the same lines as you but it is a tremendous challenge to constantly dream up [ forgive the pun ] new and creative ideas that also meet market needs.
