Illustrator in need of help.     posted on 2nd of april, 2010

Question:
How do you create your illustration? I am using CS2 (Illustrator and Photoshop), contrary to what I was told by the person that introduced me to vectors I am creating jpeg version of my vectors direcly from Eps (10 or 8) and not from AI. I prefer to do it because most of the jpegs created from Ai directly were rejected everywhere. My problem is that jpegs made from eps ( if there are some gradients or transparencies ) have a major problem with colors, I am working only with RGB but I often get messeges from admins that there are some CMYK colors in my illustration. If someone could be so kind to share this info, of how do you create a jpeg verion of vectors without HAVING a color issue( hopefuly without sending me to read all the forums, did that and wasted 30 minutes for nothing ) I ll be grateful. While comparing images generated form Ai and those from Eps on many monitors I could see clearly that Eps does change colors and not in a very good way actually very ugly ones.
Thank you.

Yes, thank you Macdaddy, I do that too but colors are wrong. The idea was if it's possible to convert directly the ai, and thank you Mani33 Ill try with an psd to see how it goes. - posted by Rceeh on April 03, 2010
Such specialized software, can be compared CMYK and RGB color correction. But I forgot the name of the software, you can try to find vector forum. - posted by Anhong on April 03, 2010
I do convert the EPS to working RGB as I kept the option of converting to be asked! Then save a copy as a PSD, flatten the image & save as JPG with 12 resolution! The only difference that you might have is some parts of the gradiant effects, but that is almost nothing to mention! - posted by Mani33 on April 02, 2010
