First Level 2 Image!

Wow, it took me over a year, but I finally got a level 2 image! It's actually a pretty new one and is selling really well on all my sites. The best part is that 40 minutes after reaching level 2, it got downloaded again - it sure felt nice to receive $1.73 for a Small DL... I envy you guys with many high level images! :) Need to work on getting more myself.

	Posted by Godfer on April 17, 2010 Congrats. I agree with what you say. My hobby was taking photos of my family and friends and now I can carry on doing that while buying better equipment and making money. There aren't many hobbies where you make money instead of costing you money.

I have a very well paid full time job that allows me to easily afford frequent trips around the world and any photography equipment I want. That's all just for pleasure. Since I took up photography about a year and a half ago, I've been learning a lot and I've been able to make a couple of thousand dollars across different microstock sites. While that hasn't been able to pay for even a significant fraction of my equipment or travel, it is still a better return than what most hobbies would give you. I intend to keep getting better and earning more. If I make enough money one day to pay for the pleasure, fine. If I don't, I couldn't care less - I'm having too much fun to worry about the financial aspect of it...
