How much money do you earn? How much money other people earn? Not many people share their personal earnings balance, isn't it? Guess what, everybody's account reflects the way they work.
I'm a contributor since 2007, I didn't upload consistently (273 uploads) and now I just made the perfect plan to get constant sales. Did that seems familiar?... I bet you had a perfect plan once. Thing is, people don't apply what they have in their heads, that's a fact and you know it. You say "I'm going to start tomorrow".. and maybe you start.. maybe. But after some time.. you quit, you forget to stick to your plan.
I found a way to stick to your plan. And I'm going to share my plan with you. Why share? Because this is part of the plan too :).
RULE OF THUMB: Start with the easiest achievable goal
First STEP: Set yourself an easy goal. And I'm going to share mine. My earnings balance is now (look at the date of the article) exactly $97.59, and my goal (easiest possible) is to reach $100 as fast as I can (I'm going to withdraw and go buy a pair of sneakers.. he he). And I'm not joking, this is as serious as it gets. If you start with an easy goal and succeed you will set the next goal higher. And here you have the introduction to my method of laddered success.
I'm going to do this in real time, so I'll post in the next episode the results and continue to share my method with you. I'll even post what image was sold and the price for it.
Second STEP (this is crucial for me): I want you to participate. That doesn't mean you have to reveal your data (but if you do, I don't mind.. he he). What I want you to do is to comment and give feedback. Why? Because I sincerely believe that the power to stick to your plan is way stronger when many people are heading towards their goals together. So lets set our goals, and if you care to share it go ahead. Any comment is good. I believe the more comments, the faster the goals will become a reality. It's like an old ritual, where many pray together. I believe commenting is our ritual.
I'm going to write episode 2, 3, 4... etc.. i don't know how many, but I promise you we will have many goals achieved. And mines personally will be fully shared with you.
Until next time i'll post here my best selling picture (he he):

mutual encouragement! Good idea, I hope you can "persist" in the hope I would "insist"! Good luck!
Thank you! Yes, I will certainly persist with this. I look forward to hear about your goals too. I'll write the next episode soon enough. Have fun

Fairly basic :-
(1) increase portfolio by 20 images a month on average.
(2) get approval ratio over 80 %
(3) get some assignment submission accepted (which is somewhat contrary to 2)
Hi there Mike. Great goals. I have planned a goal in the future about accepting images for the assignment, I'll explain it in the following episodes. We could work together for the same goal, that would be great. And don't forget to let us know when you achieve a new goal, that will be very inspiring for everyone. Have fun

I guess your goals have to be on what ever you can do, so why don't you upload some more.
What you described in this blog is exactly what I did on February, when I only had 94 images online, I made my mind to be more participative in DT. So on February I uploaded 60 images, March 52, for April I have already 22.
And for my surprise this made me sell 10 times more than what I did before, for this 3 months I have sell 81 images. earning very good $$$$.
My goal is to continue to try to upload around 40 to 50 images per month.
Yes, sure there will be goals such as uploading an amount of images or leveling images to level 5 by acceptance in the assignment ans so on. This first goal had to be the easiest.
I had a situation like that back in 2008, when I made up my mind, stayed and got accepted 80 images in November only, and yes, I was on the run, I liked it a lot, the sales went up like never before, but now I want to start it slowly, it's part of...(More)

Congrads on setting a goal. In my opinion, you really have not set a goal that requires any action from yourself. According to your profile, you have not uploaded any images this month. I believe a better goal would be to shoot photos three times a week and another goal would be to upload 5 images a week. The sales are totally in the control of the buyers, not the sellers, generally.
I wish you good fortune!
Oh, my goal. By the end of next week, 500 images accepted (currently at 462); submit another 100 images next week; go out and take photos 4 days next week. I would love to set a goal for increased sales but that is in the control of the buyers.
Thanks and yes, the goal is really easy. There is one thing that I can do to participate to this goal, because I contribute with the credits received for the blogs I write (I've won 1 credit already).
I'll soon set goals such as uploading an amount of illustrations per day or getting level 5...(More)

My goal is to get to 2,000 online (+150 needed) images and 5,000 downloads by the end of May. I'm happy to say the downloads will be easier to reach than the uploads :)
Great goal! looking forward to hear about your achievements. Have fun uploading all the images.
