ai...you have beaten me there: it has taken me nearly 4 years !! but today I reached 100 USD as well......I rarely upload photos (I am too critical for myself) so not that bad I guess.

Don't feel so bad, it took me two years to reach payout, and I am a " working professional " (it's what I do as a living outside of stock). Success in stock photography has nothing to do with professional or not, it's more to do with your willingness to work 24/7 to mass produce the pictures buyers can use. And even more importantly, knowing the right keywords to get your portfolio found in the search.
I learned that after two years , lmao. But I still don't have that 24/7 to give to microstock, as I can only do it during my time off in the 18 hour day business I have. Many successful microstock sellers who earn a living with it do just that, 24/7. It's a reality and as they say, you get what you put in.

and oh, btw, the next payout will come sooner... I am already half way to my next payout..
