Are you someone like me who chickens to hire a model, or can't find any sibling or friend to help in that; but you wish you can translate your ideas into images??.... I've fulfilled some of my relish to do so by learning through some tutorial online how to create illustrations weather with photoshop or illustrator; the results where fun, in the past month I could upload my three first ever computer illustrations and guess what? they were all approved...
How wonderful! No need for a model release for your imagination :)
Don't wait, learn how to do that...very fun and fulfilling :)
Thank you DT

lovely work. here's some encouragement to those that this blog is directed ... you said you learned through the tutotials to create these awesome illustrations. and voila, they were all approved. now, jump that hurdle to not chicken out to hire a model or find a sibling or friend to help in that. it's amazing what we can do once we decide to do it, isn't it? p.s. your product shots are wonderful .

Thank Vishakha :) I started just like you , knowing just the basics of photoshop! the best way to learn is by reading some of the tutorials that fill the web... the girl and the woman illustrations above are originally two pencil sketches I've drawn, scanned and traced with the pen tool and colored them.

CONGRATS , they're awesome. Actually, there is no proof that you cannot be very successful with Dreamstine just doing illustration. In fact, I see a lot of very successful people here with illustration and tons of downloads. So much so it makes me wish I could draw, lol.. as it would be wonderful to stop shooting photographs for micro stock as I do that all day in my full time work. And it does get a bit burn out to do the same for stock. But, it's easier for me to take a photo, and I am a lazy person , lol..
