dynamic collections

posted on 27th of may, 2010

I'd like to include a dynamic badge under the referral programme that links to a collection. Is this possible? I've tried to do it myself but hit a dead end.

Thanks for all your efforts I'll give them a try and then get back to everyone if it can be done.

Actually I was looking to the code of the embedded images of dynamic banner & it's more complicated to have a dynamic "Changing" images from a collection" because it might contain images from other contributors!
It can be done but as it doesn't represent your images only these images can't be used as a referral for you!
Better to contact the support about that before I mislead you with something!
Cheers!

No luck; any idea how you can post script without the site converting it.

Anyway I've getting the script from this page https://www.dreamstime.com/badges_dynamicp.php but when you go there it will be bespoke to you rather than me.

When I've posted the script its converted it so I've removed the first few words to see if that makes a difference.

language='javascript'>var dreamstime_myimages='';

document.write(dreamstime_myimages);
My latest stock photos on Dreamstime

OK here's the code for the dynamic banner

var dreamstime_myimages='';

document.write(dreamstime_myimages);
My latest stock photos on Dreamstime

and here is the link to the collection

You have a code that says ... Where I've put referral link is where you should replace the code!
If you still can't make it, please post here your whole banner & link to that collection for me to do the needed!

Cheers!

Thanks but which is the line in the script that refers to my portfolio and needs to be replaced with the link to the collection? There are about 5 http:// links. I've tried replacing them in different orders but no luck.
Thanks

OK if you go to the collections in the management area (here is the link: https://www.dreamstime.com/collections.php you can see your collections listed, copy the referral link of the collection & replace the link of your Portfolio referral in the banner code!

Hope that helped! Cheers!

I've found the dynamic banners that link to my portfolio. What I'd like to do is have it link to a collection that I've created that's targeted to the readers of the site. so have it show images from the collection rather than my "latest uploads" or my "most popular"

Yes you can do that...
Is your problem with finding a banner, the link to your collection or matching the code?!
