Finally 100 images in my portfolio! posted on 27th of may, 2010

It was so great today to see the number 100 on the top of the screen. Really made my day. It seems like a big milestone to me, and the 100th image is very special to me as well.

This photo was taken a few weeks ago in the Florida panhandle at Santa Rosa beach. It is such a beautiful place with magnificent white sand beaches and beautiful turquoise water as far as the eye can see. It just breaks my heart to think that the oil spill is not that far off these shores and that they may be ruined for many years to come. I feel very lucky that I got to experience the area at this time and capture some of the pristine beauty in this image.

This image, with the blue umbrella used to be one of my favorite images, but I think this new one may be my new favorite. Which one do you prefer? Also, this is my first blog article ever, so I guess that I have hit 2 milestones in one day!
