Just wanted to say Happy Summer to everyone over here where it's getting hot out. And to everyone over there where it's cooler, you lucky dogs you. I could use some of that cooler air about now!

Aside from the heat summer's not so bad. We did get to take a few days off and visit some family and friends. While visiting my niece hosted a barbecue and bonfire. It was nice to sit out under the stars, I haven't been to a bonfire in a lot of years.

I've got a few other photos from that weekend waiting review I hope some of them are on-line next week. *fingers crossed*

This weekend we will celebrate Independence Day and shoot off some fireworks. I got some fairly good shots of fireworks last summer so I hope the weather cooperates so that I can shoot them again tomorrow and maybe upload some to DT.

Have a great 4th to all of those celebrating with me, stay safe! And like your mother always said, if that firecracker blows off your fingers don't come crying to me. ;) or was that just my mother who always said that?

Have a great weekend everyone, what's left of it anyway.

Physi, mom was always saying things like that. One that really sticks in my mind was if anyone was crying about anything that was not worth crying about she'd always say "quiet down or I'll give you something to cry about!" That always made me shut up quick!
