Page Structure and Tags: What Does it Mean for Your Website?     posted on 27th of july, 2010

In our continuing series on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), one element of SEO that people often overlook is the structure of a page and the underlying code being used for that page. Not only is important for the visual appeal of your viewers, but it can make a big difference in how your site is perceived by a search engine. It is extremely important to make sure that your pages are laid out efficiently and that you are using the appropriate tags in your code.

Some important things to keep in mind include:
- Keeping the page’s main content as close to the tag as possible.
- Using heading tags appropriately
- Wrapping any code in
 tags

- Emphasizing important points with bold text
- And More!
