Keyword List Optimization

Recently I've marked for myself, that the leading in sales pictures not depend on the "fullside" keywording. You may add 80 keywords to your picture, optimized as well as you can, using the experience of the most popular jobs, but... My first sales was made with images, I expected less of all. They are all the rare images as the rule. It could be the bamboo flute, ebony persimmon or the eastern hat. And nomatter how much the additional keywords you will use.

Advice. Make images only of the best quality only or for rare items. Don't loose your time for the other subjects and for the false opinioned "fullside" keywording. 10-15 keywords can describe well all matters. Value your time and have a luck in sales!

Otherwise why would people take the trouble? Is it out of desperation? As somebody pointed out before if everybody would do it the website would become less useful and it hurts all of us. This is probably true. What bothers me in this whole keyword theory is the fact that about 50% of the downloads are not based on a keyword search. Most of the other searches have a single word as a keyword, very few have two and I never saw three. When I try to do a search with 3 keywords the returns narrow down to very few, sometimes zero, and probably I missed the good ones. Buyers know this and use few keywords. Then they get lots of pages and I don't know how they proceed from there. Maybe they just go through a few pages. The real secret is how to get yourself on the first few pages.
