Travel. Who doesn't enjoy travel?
I adore traveling to foreign places, especially when it is a place where
the chef make the most exotic food at the hotels I rest in. I am a skinny one, but when it comes to traveling and staying at hotels with great chefs, I eat like 5 big men, lol.
and on top of it, I adore visiting lands with ancient relics and cultural historic places that allows us to travel back in time.
It's such an enchantment to me, to be able to imagine that we are standing in the midst of empires or cities that used to be part of history books.
Tunisia is one such place that I visited some time ago. I long to revisit it again, and this time hopefully to really travel to shoot specifically for my stock portfolio.... [ Read more... ]

Images are awesome. You have to take them again. As one russian photographer did, she photographed some places of Moscow 40 years ago and now. This is unbelievable to see the difference through the years

I love the wonders of old, also. They really intrigue me. I have to enjoy most of them through the photographers here, so keep up the good work!

Ahhh the wonders of travel and the memories we have, some of them forever frozen in time by images. I think its time for me to travel too soon as it has also been a while. Nice images, good luck with them and your plans to return to Tunisia.

so , you 're still stuck inside your pad with bad weather outside. winter, hurricane, thunderstorm, whatever.
if you're living in a city like me where everything stops with the snow falling, and the wind squalls,
you will relate to how dreadful it is being indoors .
i am a summer photographer, by nature (no pun intended).
i shoot most of my fashion work and model portfolio on location
using the best studio in the world, the studio of Mother Nature with the best strobe in the universe The Sun.
this is because after doggone years in the studio, i really don't want to stay in studio to shoot any more than i could. i also prefer... [ Read more... ]

Adeliepenguin, no i don't think i would love to go to Hollywood. i'd rather have a film company in Montreal , Canada approach me to do a silent movie a la Charlie Chaplin than be just yet another bad (not even funny ) comedy coming out of Hollywood. I adore Chaplin because he can be funny without all those stupid scripts. being stupid is not the same as being funny :)

they say that color can affect your emotions.
that is why in fast food joints where they do not want you to hang around, bright bold uncomfortable color scheme are part of their interior decoration.
other colors are said to calm us down. that is why hospitals, old age homes, etc. have these calming tones.
so, what is your most popular color? i don't mean the color of your clothes, or your car, or even your pet poodle's food bowl, lol.
but more so, what is the most popular color scheme in your list of selling images?
i am sure for many of us, it will be white, due the copyspace we use in isolated images. but white is not a color. so that... [ Read more... ]

Blue with a bit of green are the predominant colors in about 3/4ths of my best sellers, however, two of my best sellers are yellow and orange - a couple of fire photos that have sold the most at DT and other agencies, When I uploaded several blue photos about a month ago--concepts, nature and abstracts, I noticed a spike in my earnings. After that, earth tones seem to predominate--and most of those are concept shots, not nature.

 |
As for me it is blue for outdoors, for mood and party- flash colors and multi, for serious shots- grayish and for copy space- WHITE!!!!lol But I love a mixture of a warm brown with sky blue ... Earth and water

Oh Mathew again, well I guess its blue for me, but I love red,

This image of the little boy on the bicycle with the grownups cycling together .
this morning I received confirmation from Erin of Support when I asked how many more I need to get to the next level. Erin wrote back so quickly (thanks again Erin , multumesc), to say just one more.
so, I am a happy camper... um, no, let's make it a happy laptop computer man like you see me here.
and of course, I cannot wait for the day so my dear model and special friend will be happy for me too, when I write her to tell her the good news.
I will sing... and I will be so happy, and hopefully this will mean the commissions will be better and I can earn more money to faster get enough
for the next payout ,
so I can put... [ Read more... ]
