The Dreamstime Challenge on Graphics.com

posted on 14th of april, 2010

Graphics.com announced a new design challenge based on Dreamstime images. Their monthly theme is a spiral motif.

"Whether found in nature, crafted by the human hand or generated by mathematics, the spiral has long been a potent graphical element for artists and designers, across the globe and down through the ages. And, of course, by mere coincidence it just happens to be part of the Dreamstime logo," says Graphics.com.

Entries for the challenge of month will need to use at least part of one of the six Dreamstime images. At the end of the challenge period, April 30, 2010, Graphics.com staff will pick three winning entries, based on their creativity, technical merit and employment of the supplied images. LOL about timing remark... Good luck with your entries, Sophieso!

This looks like lots of fun and something designers could use in their work. But the timing is a little weird for me. I was up until 4 a.m. working of spirals and fractals. The whole world is spinning right now. LOL Great entries so far. Thanks for letting us know about this.

Wow, I nearly missed this blog. Thanks Mailis :) Rainbows and garden forts, long grass to hide and play in, wooded swampy areas full of mossies, creepy and fun. Tree climbing, mud pie making and sandpit playing. Lying on my stomach on a swing and pretending the grass was the tops of trees and I was flying. So many things I enjoy doing, I mean did enjoy doing ;P :)))))) Well, I'm off out to play again, I mean work :D
