3rd year milestone in early

I've been quite on the blog forums of late …
Lots of craziness, little time to share!
But as I see the reality of the self imposed milestone, [as of Feb 2010], for Feb 2011 …
In fact it has come a month early.
On year 2, I made the 800 mark that I wanted to reach, and set myself the next target of 1600 [effectively doubling the level of content to my porti] [as did I do so for the preceding years success level].
Yesterday I noted that the 1600 mark was fulfilled … HOORAY!!
The lucky image:
Quite fitting indeed that this was the 'winner' as I have now had three years of practice at covering this event. And I look forward to the years to follow. So for all you golfing fans out there, you can count on me to get the images that you are looking for.
But that is certainly all that I am about [golf that is] & I would welcome the opportunity to be invited to all other types of events, sporting or otherwise. At the end of the day I want to broaden the levels of my knowledge, to the eventual point that I am able to break away from my current profession and go into photography as a more full time means of making a living. But yeah! I know that is a pipe dream …
But was that not part of the 'core' behind the start of 'Dreamstime' ?
If you are keen on having a gander at my porti & posting comments I'd love to read them … And I do not get offended by harsh criticism, in fact I welcome them as that is a very good source of assistance to shifting my skills base from where it was, going back a few years ago, to where it is now … [1st dSLR purchase 2007 08 31].
And yes, I know you all gonna ask, why SONY. The answer is simple … budget and quality!
The a100 was the 1st dSLR for SONY, and won camera of the year in the year that it was launched … [that pleased me as that was my choice for entry into the market of dSLR].
More recently the a55/33 is the 1st dSLR with the new 'old' tech now being used to aid in the capture of HD video on the stills based camera. As well as the INCREDIBLE 10fps! for stills. … which has again earned SONY the Camera of the year award!
I don't have one yet … but it is certainly on my shopping list …
[just need to make a few more sales]
So big ups to SONY … and I so guess I'll stay with them for years to come …
