From Sushi Bar to Dreamstime

As a newbie to Dreamstime and the whole stock photography milieu, I'm still awed by the new experiences I get myself into. I bet veteran photographers have been-here-done-this, but while I'm a novice learning the ropes, I'd like to chronicle my explorations. Down the road, when I've earned my stripes, I'll read my first blogs and say, yeah, I did that!
What did I do this time?
My husband took me to a Japanese restaurant for my last-day-of-my-birthmonth dinner. We ordered teppanyaki and a huge sushi platter -- apparently more than we could consume in one sitting.
The following morning, I found myself mulling over raw seafood for breakfast. While waiting for my first cup of caffeine to kick in, I thought, well, how about snapping some shots of these delicacies before I gobble them down!
I grabbed our bamboo tray and fancy chopsticks and arranged the raw fish flesh and octopus tentacles for the shoot (good thing the friendly sushi guy packed my to-go box with all the trimmings).
Lights! Camera! Upload!
A few days later, my photos came online. From sushi bar to Dreamstime in record time. Not bad for a newbie.

These photos are nicely lit! I like sushi though a few little bites cost close to $10 where I live.
