My travel diary: Golgotha, Jerusalem

I am not religious, but I fell in love with this place.
You can see many different type of Christian churches, architecture styles and meet pilgrims from all world in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Golgotha).
This church is situated in the Jerusalem Old City. The decision to place the church here was made by saint Helena about 300 AD. There is catholic part, Greek orthodox part, Armenian church, Byzantine part, walls with crusader's signatures, Franciscan Convent etc.
Visit this place is the best early morning, when there are not tourists and the atmosphere is unique.

I think, that I have better some better pictures of this place and people, but I prefer analog camera and I think that stock agencies doesn't likes copies of blow-ups, because there is much of grain. I am not good stock photographer in the fact:). But one good czech magazine about travel and culture bought my article with 10 photos about this place. It was big time for me :).

Since I will never get to this place I wish there was a closer picture of some of them like the bottom ones on the left. Looks so busy almost like a bazaar. Your English seems pretty darn good to me. I talk to people all over the world (on Facebook) and their English is good, and even if with some errors I get the jist of it just fine. Your blog would fascinate me because you're in another part of the world. I'm loving it.

	Posted by Sarkao on March 18, 2011 Joezachs: I was in Jerusalem about one and I visited this place several times in different day-times. But I recommend to visit it at morning, 'cos there are droves of people during day and no empty stairs or alone prayers.:)
