I am not sure but i think this guy who wrote this stupid blog know you and wanted to get you mad.He it is just jealous and do not deserve to take him into consideration.
Keep up your good work ,Travis!

There are probably a number of ways he/she could have voiced their opinion about you or microstock. They did it in such a way that their views lost credibility almost instantly! I myself find microstock very rewarding.. particuarly at DT.

I took a long time to start selling my photos online and in the end I decided that if I didn't the only person that got to see them was me - they were collecting dust in the cupboard so why not share them and if people like them and buy them, what a bonus.

Agreed, sad. He's the sh*thead loser, he should get a life and own what an ass he is.

It's sad some people are so hateful in this world. Love your work. Keep it up! =)

Wow. The post is so over-the-top, it's almost funny! LOL What is this guy's objective anyway?

That is a childish jealousy. His article is just ridiculous! I agree with Egomezta: Let´s laugh about it! ;)

"I hate to say it, but you're driving traffic his way by posting a link to his site. I wouldn't give him the satisfaction. If you really want folks to read his words, why not post them directly to your site? " Good point. I should have done that. I did get a bunch of traffic on my blog after posting, though. But Im sure I drove a bunch his way too.

That's awful, what he's written. Don't let it you get you down, though.

That is some article that dumb*ss write. The funny thing is that microstock is the modern business model of how to run a stockphotog business - a billion$$/year industry. Most old time photogs, most likely that blogger is one of them, hold on to their old business model and see their sales rapidly declining.

Keep this in mind - When selling stock images there is the inevitable fluctuation in sales from month to month. Selling microstock will result in let's say 100 images sale difference from month to month and therefore only our revenue only fluctuates by an approximate $100.
In tradition stock you have similar fluctuation, except that there your income fluctuates in the $1000s.
Result: Microstock is much more stable.

MAKE MONEY ON THE INTERNET IN YOUR SPARE TIME!

Only losers would believe that. Could someone tell me where the $300 in my pocket came from last month?

I was shocked to read the article......if we depended on sales for our living there would be a grain of truth in the assessment but most of us learn something from our submissions and rejections which is a bonus . David

Any job which brings money , 25 cent or 25.000 usd is called "professional". Dont worry yourself my friend. I think such an idiot can not understand the subtle work under microstock.

Travis Manley is a great professional photographer.Attacking someone for no reason is a coward! Ciao, Francesco

Hahaha, you have to admit that it's a well written flame. You've got yourself a nice stalker. I know how it feels. That's the burden of fame :-p
There is no good and no bad publicity: there is only publicity, especially in this piece where the slime of the green monster (envy) drips all over the screen.
And no, you are no loser. ;-)

Wow, that's a very er, interesting article. Perhaps the author was rejected for stock photography and holds a grudge. I'm glad to see you aren't taking it personally, though. :)

Unbelievably disgusting post and the whole website. The author is so full of poison and jealousy!
I wish there was a way to ban this kind of websites... :(

I'm glad you see the humour in it:) Maybe you should be flattered that he chose you!!
Posted by Travismanley on April 06, 2011
Thanks for the support! Not really to pissed about this or anything. I just think it is funny he targeted me for some reason.
Posted by Godfer on April 06, 2011
It's quite obvious who is the sh^^head there and it certainly isn't you!!!!! I think some of these people have no idea of the amount of money it is possible to make in microstock.
