Celebrating the Farmer's Market

posted on 17th of may, 2011

It's time for the Farmer's Market. One of my favorite places to photograph, I always look for a local outdoor market when I'm traveling. And when I'm home - you'll find me at the Santa Fe Farmer's Market from the end of May through the end of October. With artfully displayed local produce, lively conversation and wandering musicians, the market is a great place to capture microstock images ... and people watch!

Quotes of the day:
"Did you ever stop to taste a carrot? Not just eat it, but taste it? You can't taste the beauty and energy of the earth in a Twinkie." ~ Astrid Alauda

"The slowly turning Lazy Susan of the seasons." ~ John Hollander

"Sex is good, but not as good as fresh, sweet corn." ~ Garrison Keillor
